ABOUT LILIAN

Lilian Liu is an award-winning sustainability director and strategist. She is the founder of Blossom, a consultancy that helps growing companies and organizations drive impact and maximize ROI. Over the last 15 years, she has collaborated with some of the world’s most influential companies and institutions on environmental and social sustainability, climate and ESG.

At Braze, Lilian was brought on to establish and lead the company's sustainability and ESG programs — building a strategic foundation that elevated Braze to an industry leader and drove tangible business results. Prior to that, she was a Senior Strategist at Futerra in New York, advising Fortune 500s and bold startups on sustainability transformation.

She led corporate partnerships and industry initiatives at the United Nations Global Compact, advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and serving as a founding member of the UN Fashion Alliance. Working globally, she has supported sustainable fashion and waste reduction in China and East Asia with Redress, consulted in Brazil for Social Accountability International, and co-founded Fauna, a sustainable fashion marketplace.

Lilian has been named Greenbiz 30 Under 30 class of 2020 and Grist50. She is a frequent speaker at places like Trellis, New York Times, Harvard University, and the UN. She serves as an advisor for impact-driven organizations, including EarthPercent, Northzone, SparkLabs Ventures, and Pledge 1%
